Job Description
- Oversee daily operations of the body and paint workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Supervise, train, and motivate workshop staff to achieve performance targets and maintain safety standards.
- Coordinate with service advisors and customers to assess repair needs, provide accurate estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage inventory of paint, parts, and materials, ensuring timely procurement and cost control.
- Implement and enforce workshop policies, procedures, and quality control measures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop.
- Review and approve repair orders, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
- Resolve technical issues and provide guidance on complex body and paint repairs.
- Track workshop performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among workshop staff.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a body and paint workshop management or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive body repair and painting processes, tools, and materials.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to workshop operations.
