Job Description

Vijua is a Cairo-based technology company specialized in interactive ebook technologies. 

Vijua's partner, Clenergy Inc, a company specialized in renewable energy, is searching for a business development specialist to bring new business to the company. The responsibilities are as follows:

  • Initiate, develop & expand the Company’s clean energy business 
  • Develop a market-specific business canvas plan to steer the business development during the 1st year.  
  • Growing new clients’ base who could benefit from the services/products offered. 
  • Prepare and deliver technical / marketing presentations to existing and prospective customers. 
  • Developing, maintaining and updating market-specific costing data for services / solutions delivered by the Company. 
  • Calculating client quotations & preparing necessary BOQs (with technical support by Kuwait head office) 
  • Preparing periodical progress reports for Kuwait head office. 
  • Identification of project risks, analysis and recommendation of mitigation measures to direct supervisors, to be incorporated during contract negotiation 
  • Achieve regular revenue targets as set by the Management. 
  • Liaising with other members of the team, suppliers & subcontractors. 
  • Maintain positive and strong business relations with existing customers to maintain the Company’s reputation and business. 
  • Responsible for maintaining & organizing all related Documentation.

  • Business Intelligence: Inbound/outbound Marketing, Customer Segmentation, Developing Proposals for Projects, Developing Sales Pitches, budgeting, Identifying Benefits of Products and Services from the Customer Perspective, Managing Leads 

Qualifications

  • Engineering Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8-15 years' prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Arabic & English language proficiency
