Job Description
- Manage purchasing activities for ongoing projects based on project requirements and schedules
- Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors
- Request and analyze quotations to ensure the best value (price, quality, delivery)
- Issue purchase orders in line with company policies and project budgets
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering, and finance teams
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery to project sites
- Resolve supply, quality, or delivery issues with vendors
- Maintain the approved vendor list and supplier performance records
- Ensure purchased items meet technical specifications and project standards
- Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
- Previous experience in project-based environments (construction, engineering, automation, or technical projects preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
