Job Description
Job specific responsibilities:
Staffing:
- Forecast the hiring needs for the different departments periodically (ex. Quarterly / Annually).
- Receive hiring requisitions (different employment levels) from heads of departments.
- Implement the manpower planning processes and procedures.
- Request the needed job profiles from the OD department.
- Identify potential talents internally.
- Take the needed actions regarding employment levels changes Sourcing and Screening:
- Source potential candidates for the vacant positions using different channels.
- Conduct initial screening process through different channels (ex. Phone interview).
Interviewing:
- Schedule interviews with the shortlisted candidates.
- Conduct HR interviews using CBI methodology.
- Schedule technical interviews for the accepted candidates with the Line managers (Hiring Managers).
Employee relations activities:
- Communicate with the ER team to keep updated status of the employees’ vacation, leaves, adherence, and absenteeism.
- Coordinate any changes in the Medical Insurance details (Ex. Receive new cards, adding or removing family members, etc.)
- Communicate with operations’ Management for any concerns related to employees’ vacation, leaves, adherence, and absenteeism.
Performance Management:
- Coordinate with the OD department regarding the Performance Appraisal process implementation.
- Gather the output data and communicates it to the OD department.
Offboarding:
- Coordinate with the concerned department to revoke resigned employees’ users and backup any needed data.
- Conduct exit interview, analyzes the outputs, and takes the corrective / preventive actions if needed.
Employees’ grievance:
- Handle employees’ escalations and takes the necessary actions.
- Conduct investigation in case of rules violations (This action should be in alignment with the ER Head).
Managerial responsibilities:
- Prepare different kind of progress reports when needed.
- Supervise and coaches subordinates regularly, furthermore, appraises their performance.
- Cascade departmental objectives and turn it into operational actions.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as an HR business partner
- Excellent people management skills
- Analytical and goal oriented
- Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
- BS degree in Human Resources or related field
- Postgraduate studies in HRM is preferred or an International Certificate (Ex. SHRM, HRCI, etc.)
- A minimum 7 years of experience in a similar field.
