Job Description
- At MG Developments, we believe that our people are our main asset, thus we thrive when they do. We are currently looking for an additional member to MG Developments family as (Cost Control Engineer)
- Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
- Provide cost planning and cost controlling support for assigned projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of invoices processes.
- Perform technical and commercial review of submitted tenders (subcontractor’s quotations) for the preparation of Service agreements.
- Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project works at the project budget.
- Attend project meetings and discussions
- Prepare monthly project cost performance reports for management to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
Job Requirements
- Expert with Planning or projects control, especially with commercial buildings
- Very good communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous.
- Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling, and reporting.
- Possess good project background and technical writing ability and skills.
- Analytical thinking skills
- Time and stress management skills
- Cost Control background is preferred
- 6-8 Years of experience in planning and cost control.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- BSc degree in Civil Engineering
- Excellent command of the English language
- Good presentation skills.
