Job Description

A-Procurement Management: 

  • Establish a Procurement unit within the Supply Chain Department and develop, implement and continually review procurement policies to ensure the efficient operation of the unit for sourcing of Direct & Indirect services and goods.
  • Design and implement all material plans and ensure compliance to all purchasing policies and manage all communication for all direct and indirect activities and assist to buy all supplies and equipment’s and maintain quality for same.
  • Develop supplier and industry portfolio of suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain an effective procurement administration ensuring the effective management of risk and ongoing supplier performance and compliance to legislation. incorporate robust terms and conditions, service level agreements and supplier performance management controls to ensure appropriate levels of service are delivered and maintained during the agreement
  • Ensure external supplier performance and compliance to E-Cards terms, conditions, specs and quality
  • Ensure compliance to internal customers’ requirements and satisfaction
  • Manage and ensure the efficient operations of accounts payable of Vendors and their respective payment terms

B- Logistics Management

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders/ shipping lines/Clearing agency to avoid any delays and reduce conflicts.
  • Process import/export shipping documentation (B/L, COO, etc.).
  • Process other shipping documentation related responsibilities.
  • Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates to keep costs down where possible.
  • Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to. make sure established deadlines are met.
  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
  • Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
  • Check invoices against source documents and correct any errors.
  • Keep contract files and use them as reference for the future.
  • Process any supply/logistics provider complaints.

Job Requirements

  • BS. in Business Administration or a domain of relevance ,MBA Master of Business Administration is a plus.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the same role.

  • CIPS is a plus.
