Job Description
Job Title: Calibration and Service Engineer / Technician - Weighing Systems & Packaging Machines
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote and Onsite (Hybrid) - Preferred candidates from Nasr City or nearby locations, or those who can easily commute
Experience Level:
- 3+ years of experience in servicing and calibrating weighing scales, weighbridges, industrial weighing systems, and packing machines.
- Engineering degree (preferably in Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering).

Job Description:
- Weighing Scales & Systems: Perform calibration, maintenance, and repairs on various types of weighing scales (bench, platform, counting, and digital scales), ensuring they meet industry standards.
- Weighbridge Services: Conduct calibration, servicing, and repairs for weighbridges to ensure precise and reliable weight measurement for large-scale operations.
- Industrial Weighing Systems: Support calibration and troubleshooting of industrial weighing systems used in manufacturing, logistics, and processing industries.
- Packing Machines: Provide technical services for the calibration, maintenance, and repairs of packing machines including filling, sealing, and wrapping machines used in packaging lines.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with local and international calibration standards (ISO, OIML, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support, including setup and installation of new systems.
- Create and maintain accurate service records, calibration certificates, and technical reports.
- Train and guide customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures.
- Follow safety standards and ensure that equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Work Environment:
- Collaborate in both remote and onsite settings, ensuring seamless coordination with all stakeholders.
- Use leading remote platforms and communication tools to maintain efficiency.
Location Preference: Candidates from Nasr City or nearby areas who can easily commute are preferred
Job Requirements
- For Engineers: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field).
- For Technicians: Technical diploma or certification in Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in servicing and calibrating weighing scales, weighbridges, industrial weighing systems, and packing machines.
- In-depth knowledge of calibration standards, including ISO 17025, OIML, or other relevant standards.
- Strong understanding of electronic weighing systems, load cells, and control systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in weighing equipment and automated packing machines.
- Good communication skills with the ability to provide technical support and training to clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a customer-facing role.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with weighbridge software and packing machine controls.
- Certification in calibration or related fields (e.g., ISO 9001, OIML).
- Familiarity with PLC systems used in weighing systems and packaging machinery.
- Previous experience with industrial automation and equipment installation.
