Job Description
- Creating the required NFSA, BRC version 9 & Global-GAP related procedures.
- Add any additional client requirements to the FSMS/QMS whether procedure, updated specs, etc.
- Creating the raw material, product specifications & process KPIs for proper raw, product & process monitoring.
- Create the defect catalogue for the different products’ variants.
- Verify the compliance of the process to the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Record the process data and analyze its trend and define the deviation & its root causes to be resolved with following up the corrective action effectiveness.
- Excellent attention to details to identify defects in raw/pack materials, semi-finished & finished products and take the necessary correction/corrective action to resolve these defects.
- Improve/add procedures for most efficient testing of the products.
- Handle all quality-related issues (e.g. internal, supplier, customer, etc.) with communicating the necessary stakeholders to be resolved.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality & safety standards.
- Carry out product and process auditing/verification periodically.
- Ensure that control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained.
- Monitor and report the quality-related key performance indicators including finished product defects rate, GMP compliance, sanitation practices’ compliance etc.
- Assists in the training of quality & food safety awareness.
- Maintain the shelf life retention samples for the shipped containers and for the delivered raw/pack materials.
- Leads the hygienic sample analyses & the implementation of the EPTP (Environmental Pathogen Testing Program).
- Evaluates the supplier performance.
- Follows up the closure of the actions involved in CAPA, customer complaint tracker, client audits & external audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in QC/QA in food field.
- BSc degree in Agriculture or Science.
- Strong knowledge in BRC, Global GAP & NFSA requirements.
- Professional use of Microsoft office (Xls, Word, PPT, etc.).
- Good English speaking & writing.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
