Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the development and refinement of the department/ organization-wide Quality Management vision & strategy.
- Develop, design & sustain the Quality Management System (programs, systems, policies, processes, and procedures) through combining practical experience with:
- Industry standards/ leading practices (i.e., Lean/ Six Sigma, ISO9000 family, ISO45001 etc.).
- Business needs/ requirements through existing or developing new PPPs (Processes, Policies & Procedures).
- Ensure Quality culture and strategy are properly communicated and understood throughout the organization, to ensure a proper and efficient implementation of Quality PPPs (Processes, Policies & Procedures).
- Work closely with various departments and cross-functional process owners to provide process analysis oversight on a continuous basis to enforce requirements, meet regulations and embed a system of continuous improvement.
- Assist or take the lead in developing/ designing organizational wide PPPs (Processes, Policies & Procedures).
- Ensure process improvements initiatives/ projects are planned, executed, and reviewed as needed for continuous improvement.
- Devise QMS review plans, lead their executions, and validate reports findings, recommendations, and conclusions (specifically from a Process Improvement perspective).
- Prepare QMS reports and/or necessaries.
- Lead external audit/ inspection preparation and liaise with certification bodies (ISO auditors/ inspectors) through all stages.
- Review external audit results and reports to ensure that:
- All nonconformities raised are effectively corrected and independently verified.
- Recommended corrective and preventive actions and opportunities for improvement were delegated to concerned parties for the efficient implementation of what is required.
- Assist the technical director in attracting, hiring, training, and retaining a team of highly technical and performing QMS professionals.
Job Requirements
Skills and Competencies
- Candidates with experience in manufacturing and factories QMS.
- 10 to 15 years of QMS experience with at least 5 years on a Managerial level.
- Ability to liaise and interface with Executive and Senior Management in reviewing business issues and plans.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience of QMS standards and techniques such as:
- ISO9000 family, ISO45000 family etc.
- Lean and Six Sigma principles are preferred.
- Strong process improvement & re-engineering capabilities.
- Creative & out of the box problem solving capabilities.
- Strong capabilities in developing operational PPPs (Processes, Policies & Procedures).
- Demonstrated quantitative/ qualitative analytical skills and development of quantitative/ qualitative analysis of business issues.
- Organizational skills and ability to execute tasks under challenging circumstances, including skills in planning, scoping, and delivering engagements/ assignments and conducting project work.
- Strong presentation skills, communication and report writing skills.
- Technology Proficient (MS Office, Visio, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving, Process Improvement/ Re-engineering.
- Experience in developing operational PPPs.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting quantitative/ qualitative analysis.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
- Experience in designing quality assurance programs.
