Job Description
- Provide legal advice and support on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters related to company operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor agreements, partnership contracts, service agreements, and NDAs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate laws, financial regulations, and FinTech-related regulatory requirements.
- Support the development, review, and implementation of internal policies, governance frameworks, and compliance procedures.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and governmental entities regarding licensing, compliance, and legal requirements.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential legal and regulatory risks.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external legal counsel and oversee outsourced legal matters when required.
- Support corporate governance activities, including preparing legal documentation, resolutions, and corporate filings.
- Provide legal support to internal stakeholders on business initiatives, strategic projects, and operational matters.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- 3–5 years of professional legal experience, preferably within FinTech, financial services, or regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, and financial regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Hands-on experience in dealing with regulatory authorities and compliance matters.
- Familiarity with corporate governance frameworks, internal policies, and compliance procedures.
- Experience working with external legal counsel is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
