Job Description
An Associate Video Editor is required for a full time job:
- Searches for best shots and footage to be used for the documentary/video/mood setters.
- Assembles all raw footage for inputting into the computer.
- Inputs uncut rushes and sound, and synchronizing and storing them into files on the computer.
- Cuts the files digitally to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what is usable.
- Oversees the quality and progress of audio and video.
- Adds visual effects and sounds effects according to the need and the movie maker’s artistic sense.
- Ensures that the video is to be delivered on deadlines with high quality.
- Does the montage and work on feedbacks to produce the best video.
- Adds subtitles, music and voice over and sets the sound.
Job Requirements
- Excellent command of English language.
- Professional usage of Adobe Premier and/or Final Cut.
- After Effects and/or Animation will be a plus
- Knowledgeable about visual effects and sound effects.
- High sense of art, and creativity.
- Ability to work under stress.
- Openness to feedback
- Good research skills
