Job Description

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive Arabic Social Studies lessons to students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and educational philosophy.
  • Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom activities that foster critical thinking and a deep understanding of Arabic history, geography, and culture.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and respect for diverse perspectives.
  • Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and technologies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student development and address individual learning needs.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, field trips, and cultural events related to social studies and the Arabic-speaking world.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance in accordance with school policies.
  • Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in social studies education and integrate them into classroom instruction.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s curriculum and participate in professional development opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience teaching Arabic Social Studies or related subjects at the elementary or secondary level.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Arabic history, geography, and culture.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in integrating educational technology and multimedia resources into lessons.
  • Ability to design and implement differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in lesson planning and record-keeping.
  • Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Fluency in Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
