Job Description
- Receiving the monthly plan from the head of departments according to their needs.
- Responsible for sending the quotations and the selected one of them with the supplying order to the Cost controller.
- Buying the best quality ingredients, equipment, goods, and services for the food operation at the best price.
- Following up with the store to make sure that we received the selected items from our vendors
- Responsible for PO's issuing.Following up with finance to make sure that the check is delivered on time.
- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
- Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
- Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
Job Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience .
- A knack for negotiation and networking
- Attention to details.
- Negotiations skills
- Ability to gather and analyses data and to work with figures
- Experience in Fresh Food Purchasing ( Meat & Milk Products )
- Experience in non-Fresh Food Purchasing ( FMCG )
