Job Description
- A publicist is responsible for achieving the goals for a film, series, or any entertainment content.
- This requires excellent knowledge of and good relationships with journalists, critics content creators, film buffs and influencers across multiple genres and interest areas.
- The scope of work includes the development of strategic plans, pitches and liaising with clients to execute strategies, media offers and client requests.
- The Publicist will be responsible for multitasking on multiple high-profile clients simultaneously in a high volume, deadline-oriented environment.
- We are seeking enthusiastic candidates who can work in a fast-paced environment, are driven, and have strong communication and writing skills.
- The scope of work includes work in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE and possibly other Arab countries.
Job Requirements
- 4 - 6 years work experience in corporate communications/ Public Relations / Entertainment publicity / Digital PR
- Excellent writing skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple clients
- Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Profound knowledge of the media and digital landscape across the region.
- Valid passport and no restrictions on travel.
- A passion for entertainment and the media.
- A team player , a go-getter.
- Grit.
