Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Preparing technical submittals (method of the statement, shop drawing, schematics, etc.) for the low currents systems including Building Automation /Control Systems such as BMS, Energy management systems “EMS/GRMS” and Lighting Control with required structure cabling as part of the project/consultant requirements.
- Develop drawings for solutions proposed to aid with engineering package.
- Preparation of Schematic Diagram "Riser", Input and Output List "I/O List", calculations, and Overall Site Plans.
- Rack configuration including sizing and selection of racks, switches, and UPS.
- Coordinate designs with internal architectural, building services and structural department
- Provide guidance, direction, and assistance in the resolution of customer issues & engineers.
- Coordinate with team member to check overall design compatibility (Shop Drawings) of the proposed Low current solution with other disciplines for integration and coordination.
- Work with pre-sales engineer on the technical response (Compliance) and understand the scope of works that best explain how the design completely fulfills the customer’s needs.
- Contact vendor and manufacturer and follow up on requested quotes and designs.
- Detecting / solving construction clashes with Architectural, Structural, Interior Design, and MEP disciplines such as HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical departments.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports to the Section Head and the client if needed.
- Handling the drafter's responsibilities and giving all the required task.
- Provide estimated cost breakdown for installation, answer technical/site requirement, and supervise implementation.
- Analyze client needs by using a formal evaluation survey (including site survey) to explore creative solutions to clients’ needs.
- Interact and coordinate with Customers, Partners, Vendors and internal teams as part of the presales process.
- Explain the design to end customers/consultants & contractors.
- Determine the resources required to complete projects
- Manage and control departmental projects to ensure project cycle completion.
- Sit closely with client/stakeholders to address possible challenges and propose suitable resolutions.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction which should result from proficient design and honest commitment.
- Build, maintain and enhance customer relationships as applicable.
- Sustain positive teamwork environment when required.
- Participate in the Installation, Programming, Testing & Commissioning for Low Current Systems.
Key Performance Indicators:

Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in working in the field of low current and ELV technologies projects.
- Knowledge in other international standards and codes such as (NFPA, TIA, BICSI, ISO/IEC, NEC, BS, IEEE, IEC… etc.).
- Advanced experience in meeting with client and stakeholders.
- Advanced level in documentation and reports.
- Excellent time management
- Excellent communication, reading, and understanding skills.
- Communication skills.
- Principles of problem analysis and solving

- Continuous and self-learning
- Knowledge in Low current and ELV systems Design & Project Management
- Knowledge in Software tool (AutoCAD, Revit)

QUALIFICATIONS/ CERTIFICATES:
- Bachelor's degree [Computer Science/Computer, Electrical, Telecom Engineering]
- Supporting Certification in the field of low current system.
- Working experience in designing Low Current & ELV/ systems.
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years+ experience.
