Heavy Lifting Engineer Manager

We are recruiting a Heavy Lifting Engineer Manager to be responsible for the safe and successful
planning, execution and management of The Companies projects involving Heavy Lifting,
Engineered Transport & Engineered Load Movements (Lift & Shift Operations)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Managing Heavy Lifting Activities.
• Provide Lifting Plan(S) and risk assessment(s) that meet legal or regulatory requirements and OMS requirements.
• Confirm that the lifting equipment is only operated within its safe operating limits and OEM operating instructions.
• Advise others on the preparation of the lifting Plan.
• Confirm that the categorization and technical content of the lifting Plan is correct.
• Approve the lifting Plan prior to submission for authorization by the Lifting Engineer.
• Confirm that the lifting operations are untaken safely and in conformance with the approved Lift Plan.
• Participate in and deliver Toolbook talk.
• Confirm that all personnel involved in a lifting operation are protected at work from the risk to their health or safety by having sufficient training, experience, and adequate supervision to perform the take competently relative to the categorization of the lit.
• Calculate the theoretical C.O.G. and obtain actual C.O.G. using various physical weighing methods.
• Planning and execution heavy lifting, up-rightning operations.
• Structural stress analysis.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis Studies.
• Determination the recommended cranes and working circumstances.
• Planning and execution hydraulic Jacking and special methods lifting operations.
• Designing lifting lugs and lifting beams in accordance with the AISC standard.
• Simple Steel structure design.
• Calculate Ground bearing pressure calculations.
• Calculate Wind and centrifugal forces' effect on lifting operations and other dynamic loads.
• Planning and execution of load-out/load-in of mega-heavy modules (topsides and jacket structures) using various load-out techniques ( pulling winch skidding, SPMT, ... etc. ).
• Perform floating operations calculations.
• Inspection of rigging tools ( wire ropes, shackles, hooks, ... etc.).
• Inspection of lifting machines ( cranes, winches, ...etc. ).
• Planning and controling heavy lifting projects using primavera.
• Material control using access software.
• Exceution of ballasting plans.
