Job Description
- Panel Design & Configuration:
- Design and specify low voltage control panels for various systems Maim panels, PLC, MCC Panels, sub distribution panels.
- Develop wiring diagrams, system layouts, and control panel schematics.
- Select and configure components (relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, transformers, etc.) to ensure systems meet required performance and safety standards.
- Ensure that the panels comply with relevant codes and regulations (e.g., IEC, NFPA, local electrical codes).
- Installation & Integration:
- Oversee the installation and setup of low voltage control panels, including wiring, components, and interconnections.
- Work with contractors and field technicians to ensure that the panels are integrated with other building systems and technologies.
- Testing & Troubleshooting:
- Conduct rigorous testing of panels and systems to ensure they operate correctly and meet performance specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with panel configuration, wiring, or system integration.
- Perform system diagnostics and make necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure reliable performance.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain detailed records of designs, configurations, and installations.
- Ensure all systems are in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements (local electrical codes, IEC, etc.).
- Prepare reports and as-built documentation for clients.
- Collaboration & Support:
- Work with electrical engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure systems are designed and installed according to specifications.
- Provide on-site support, training, and technical assistance to clients and end-users as necessary.
- Offer recommendations for system upgrades or improvements based on current and future technology trends.
Job Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- Proven experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of low voltage systems and control Panels
- Familiarity with building codes, industry standards (IEC, UL), and safety practices related to low voltage systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and related equipment.
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing panel layouts and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with installation and troubleshooting of low voltage panels.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
