Job Description
At Gettechforce we help companies build their teams. We currently have over 35 remote developers in Egypt and are looking to expand our team now, by looking for 2 .NET C# developers
- The role will be Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm as the main development hub is in Europe. After some time and when some trust has been built up, our other developers have moved to a Sunday - Thursday work week.
- This is a full time role, but you will be a private contractor and responsible for your own taxes / insurance etc.
- It will be 100% remote, so you can work from where ever you want.
We are currently expanding our team in Egypt, so you will have access to our other developers and we plan on having nights out and events with other team members as we continue to grow.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to escape the corporate environment and play a leading role in a small but growing SAAS company. In addition to leading a small development team this role requires interfacing with customers and commercial staff to define their requirements. This role is ideal for someone with good interpersonal skills seeking a fulfilling and challenging role.
Job Requirements
Your Responsibilities
- Work closely with other developers in a small team
- Write satisfactory, clean, and maintainable code while following defined standards and best practices
- Understand given requirements and come up with solutions which can be iterated upon and improved
- Maintain, update, and improve a large code base
- Perform manual testing and write automated tests
- Troubleshoot and solve defects found within the system
- Provide aid with system-related issues to support staff, including outside work hours if required
- Show effort and a willingness to improve your skills
- Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software
- Contribute new ideas and suggestions to improve the product
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (optional given prior experience)
- 3+ years of professional web application development experience in .NET, full stack preferred
- Excellent knowledge of .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and C#
- Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Familiarity with component-based front-end frameworks is preferable
- Familiarity with the Azure ecosystem is preferable
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Competent in Git/version control
- Self-sufficiency, ability to work independently, and a willingness to learn and progress in a small, fast-paced development team
