Job Description
- Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including stock control, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with logistics, production, and distribution teams to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
- Implement and enforce safety, security, and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate warehouse staff performance, providing coaching, training, and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and returns using warehouse management systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within warehouse operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer and production demands.
- Manage the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational challenges for management review.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role within the FMCG or agrifoods sector.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
