Job Description

SSC is hiring for one of the biggest companies Asst.VP Marketing & Content Manager – International Business Group

Job purpose 

Drive strategic marketing efforts across IBG wholesale banking group to achieve business objectives.

Multi-layered & intensive stakeholders management across Financial Business Partners, Agencies (Media, ATL & BTL creative), and Economic platforms. 

Handle Sponsorships & Marketing activities for Asia/UK/USA countries. 

  1. The work will require close collaboration with marketing colleagues in IBG/CIBG (Wholesale), with the rest of the Group Marketing & Communications function, such as the Brand & Comms team, and with the associated teams in IBG who have responsibilities for Business Development, Product Development, Market, Communications, and Business Support Services.
  2. Based in Egypt but focused on all global offices where Mashreq has a business, except UAE.

Key Result Areas

Manage the Customer/Industry/Thought Leadership Events for IBG locations & product teams

Manage external sponsorships.

Draft and/or edit content for all marketing channels, owned or paid

Engage with the CX team to support all customer-centricity initiatives 

Design, develop and implement a social media strategy for product marketing teams

Managing IBG website & Marketing collaterals content

Working closely with Mashreq's Branding Team, Digital Team, Social Media Team, Website team, and PR team.

Brief and manage creative agency - Promotional Advert, EDMs, Promotional Videos, Digital Creativity

Creative Design skills will be a plus

 

Problem-solving

  • Provide strategic solutions to business heads to build and protect Mashreq's brand name and image.
  • Strategic marketing experience, which delivers against the business goals, whilst being achievable and realistic in terms of execution within budgets
  • The strong requirement to be able to handle crises, and multi-task

 

Decision-Making Authority & Responsibility

  1. Provide approvals on creative content in consultation with immediate supervisor & evaluating written communication briefs.
  2. •     Responsible for marketing and communications expenditure for IBG offerings
  3. •     Ensuring that there is consistency in marketing and communication materials developed for your business, across all media channels, as well as accuracy in brand interpretation across international markets.
  4. •   Ability to apply benchmarks and recommend robust metrics to assess the performance of marketing material

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Familiarity with banking operations, sales, and support environments, and strong customer focus.
  • 5-7 years of banking or enterprise B2B level marketing, incorporating analysis and leadership responsibilities, with an understanding of international markets
  • Sound knowledge of analyzing expenses for various activities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Content writing skills.
  • Close collaboration and engagement with key stakeholders -Corporate  Products, , Operations, Technology, Finance, Compliance, and Digital
  • Ensure service, operations, backend, fulfillment, and tracking are ready before the campaign launch
  • Collaborate with the PR team to ensure optimal PR/media exposure on a periodic basis
  • Strong expertise in banking products marketing with a proven track record of building a brand
  • Creative thinker, strong ideation, good people leader & relentless executor with attention to detail
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across IBG
  • Proven ability to leverage external agencies & alliance partners to deliver outstanding campaigns
