Job Description
- Translate written documents, emails, and reports between designated languages with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Interpret verbal communications during meetings, presentations, and negotiations as needed.
- Review and proofread translated materials to ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand context and terminology specific to the fabric and clothing manufacturing industry.
- Maintain a glossary of industry-specific terms and ensure consistent usage across all communications.
- Assist in the localization of marketing materials, product descriptions, and technical documents.
- Support the Human Resources team by translating policies, training materials, and internal communications.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Stay updated on language trends, regional dialects, and industry terminology.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve translation processes and tools.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years and up to 10 years of proven experience as a translator or in a similar language-focused role.
- Fluency in at least two languages relevant to the company’s operations (Russian and English).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both source and target languages.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality translations.
- Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment.
- Familiarity with fabric and clothing manufacturing terminology is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using translation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
