As a Senior Creative Copywriter at McGraw Hill, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling messaging, narratives, and content that resonates with our target audience of K12 educators.This role requires a seasoned English copywriter with a background in advertising and commercial copywriting, who can not only create captivating content but also strategically shape our messaging and positioning across various marketing channels.What can you expect from the position? Strategic Content Development: Develop an in-depth understanding of our product suite and use this knowledge to craft relevant, engaging, and relatable messaging that resonates with K12 educators. Messaging and Positioning: Determine the most appropriate messaging, language, tone of voice, and positioning for our marketing materials. Content Prioritization: Identify and prioritize the topics and themes that should be highlighted in our content creation efforts. Multimedia Content Creation: Write scripts for multimedia content, including videos, webinars, and presentations. Ensure that the content maintains a cohesive narrative and effectively communicates key messages. Review and Editing: Review, edit, and approve all written marketing communications, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand guidelines. Collaboration and Cultural Nuances: Work closely with regional product marketing managers across various international regions. Understand and incorporate regional cultural nuances into messaging to create culturally relevant content. Work with translation services when needed to localize content. Content Strategy: Contribute to the development of a comprehensive content strategy that spans web copy, blog posts, social media messaging, email campaigns, and other marketing channels. Performance Analysis: Monitor the performance of content across different channels and make data-driven recommendations for optimizations based on engagement and audience feedback.We’re looking for someone with: Minimum of 5 relevant B2B advertising experience. Bachelors Degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field. Proven track record in copywriting and content creation skills. Excellent project management, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects with intertwining deadlines while staying focused on the details. Why work for us?
