Job Description
We are looking for talented Sales Manager "Second Line Manager"
To build and execute strategies to meet sales goals for the Line; to drive Line sales performance, market share and profitability; to be responsible optimal resource utilization and all business operations in the Line; to develop deep understanding of customers and the healthcare market and apply insights to create new business opportunities; to lead the execution of current product strategies, new product launches, new business development and change initiatives within the Line; to lead, motivate and develop exceptional salespeople and teams; to promote GNP as a leader in general or specific pharmaceutical areas.
Major Accountabilities:
· Setting adequate annual forecast for the specific therapeutic area per line as per GNP strategy; manage the process of target distribution per Medical Representative
· Develops and implements Line business strategy to meet customer needs; drives the creation and execution of business plans within each territory to deliver the required business results; manages Line operating budget and allocates resources as required to achieve business plans.
· Develops and leads an integrated Line business planning process to identify opportunities to increase strategic product sales:
– Step 1 Stakeholder business analysis
– Step 2 Local market planning
– Step 3 Plan execution and tracking.
· Leads the work of developing effective and enduring customer relationships; personally takes responsibility for strong relationships with the most significant customers and stakeholders all over the National.
· Develops in-depth understanding of market environment and customers; communicates customer insights to internal stakeholders to develop new business strategies.
creates a culture of high performance, learning and development.
· Works within GNP policies and standard operating procedures “SOPs” and creates a culture that ensures all reports, direct and indirect, do the same.
The potential candidate should be able to do the following :
· Sales target achievement for AM & PM and products growth for the Line.
· Market share target achievement for strategic products and market share gain
· Contact rate and coverage: AM Call rate%, PM Call rate %, PM Coverage% from standard list, AM Coverage% & Pharmacy Call rate%
· Total ROI of the Line (expenses versus total sales)
· Delivery of customer activities – dependent on individual and in agreement with Sales Director / National Sales Manager
Job Requirements
- University degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Veterinary Medicine
- At least 3 years of experience in the same role
- Consistent proven record of sales achievement
- Strong leadership behavior
