Job Description
“Sewing Production Manager” is required for Jade Apparel Industries located in Borg El Arab, Alexandria:
Main Responsibilities:
- Receives and monitors the order plan and order sheet from the senior authorities.
- Supporting the improvement of quality system according to customer’s expectations and company’s needs.
- Workforce, materials and machines are used efficiently within the forecasted budget.
- During ordering phase, having the order inspected in a technical perspective according to demands arriving from business units, and having the order approved for feasibility.
- Informing top management and business units where a risk is noticed.
- Determining departments’ KPIs according to company strategies.
- Directly dealing with all kinds of expectations and complaints of customers about social compliance issues.
- Taking regulative and preventive actions against risks stemming from both inner and outer factors.
- Reporting & following day by day stocks (semi product-product-material) of ready-to-wear department to planning department.
- Starting, managing, reporting improvements and projects and assign people for them.
- Determining, monitoring and developing training needs.
- Determining the performance criteria for the subordinates. Periodically checking for suitability, defining areas where improvement is required and creating action plans.
Job Requirements
Qualification:
- Education: Holding BSc degree or relevant qualification
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in textile industry (5 years as a manager)
- Skills: Leadership, Problem solving, Analytical and Computer Skills.
- Language: English language is a must; Turkish language is preferred.
- Experience with Lean Principles is preferred
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Outstanding communication ability
