ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Detailed design engineering package for pipelines Construction of pipelines.
Engineering for marine applications. Develops project objectives by reviewing vendors/ subcontractors proposals and plans; conferring with management.
Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; and reviewing bids from contractors.
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Willingness to travel and accept site assignments
Develop and/or participate in Client Meetings and Project Design
Monitor the progress for all piping activities in regards to budget, schedule, technicalities and report results to Project Management and Department Management.
Interface with customer, construction organization and vendors / fabricators

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE

3 to 7 years total experience.
Piping engineering. (specially for fire protection systems and waste water systems)
Firefighting systems projects.
Oil & Gas field.
Jobsite experience
Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new assignments and challenges
Stress analysis calculations and supports design
Steel tanks design

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

MS office applications ( Word, excel, power point)
Fluency in English and good technical writing qualifications
Auto cad plant 3D (MEP design)
Stress analysis software
Engineering Design Package Preparation (General arrangements, P&IDs, Isometrics, specifications, stress
analysis sheets, construction details, BOQs,…etc.)
NFPA codes and API standards full awareness

SKILLS

Hands-on professional.
Experienced working with work permits & safety manuals regulations.
A self-motivated, creative & recreational person with good communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Piping Engineer will be working in both site and office.
Piping Engineer work a standard workweek but may be required to work some evenings and weekends to meet project milestones.
