Job Description

  • Proposal Preparation & Supplier Negotiation: Prepare proposals, request quotes from suppliers, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions to ensure cost-effective and favorable agreements.
  • Purchase Orders & Agreements: Prepare and issue accurate purchase orders and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor supplier performance, resolve issues and concerns promptly, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality and delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards. Take corrective actions to address any deficiencies or shortcomings.
  • Market & Trend Analysis: Analyze industry trends, supplier market conditions, and demand patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Sourcing Strategy Development: Support senior management in the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives that align with company objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the procurement process, ensuring the reliability and continuity of supply.
  • Budget Management: Manage procurement budgets effectively and report on cost variances and savings achieved through strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance, and generate regular reports for senior management review.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of procurement professionals.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement principles, supplier management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing. Experience in the IT industry is preferred.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and vendors while maintaining strong business relationships.Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities to assess supplier performance, market trends, and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address issues related to quality, supply delays, and contract disputes effectively.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and mentoring a team, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in purchase orders, contracts, and supplier evaluations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using procurement management software and ERP systems to track orders, inventory, and vendor performance.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to market changes, and develop innovative procurement strategies.
