Job Description
- Software Testers are responsible for the quality of software development and deployment.
- They are involved in performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. Some of the duties include analysis of software, and systems, mitigate risk and prevent software issues.
- Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
- Executing tests on software usability.
- Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
- Interacting with departments to understand the project requirements.
- Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
- Work with software developers and project support teams.
- Monitor applications and software systems.
- Create documentation and review it 10.
- run manual and automated tests.
- Test in different environments including web and mobile.
Write bug reports. - Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Job Requirements
- +2 years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
- Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
- Working knowledge of programming.
- Web Application Testing.
- Mobile Applications Testing.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Excellent communication skills

- Strong organizational skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
