Architectural Engineer/Drafter for Infrastructure Projects/MEP
Type: Remote
Salary: 15,000-35,000 EGP
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Architecture Engineer/Drafter to join our team remotely. The role focuses on carrying out drafting tasks for infrastructure projects, including water treatment plants, and water supply networks, office buildings, warehouses etc. This is a contract position for an initial 3-month assignment, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural and infrastructure drafts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for office buildings, warehouses, water treatment plants, and water supply networks.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design requirements and produce accurate technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Ensure all drafts comply with relevant building codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and site conditions.
- Assist in the preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ) and material schedules as needed.
- Maintain organized documentation of all drafting work for project archives.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical or a related field.
- Proven experience (at least 5-7 years) as a drafter or architecture engineer, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as buildings, warehouses, or water systems.
- Proficiency in drafting software, including AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, infrastructure design, and water supply systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Good communication skills for virtual collaboration via tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or email.
- Familiarity with Egyptian building regulations and standards is a plus.
Assignment Details
- Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with possibility of extension.
- Location: Fully remote.
- Working Hours: Flexible, with expected availability during standard business hours (Egypt time) for team coordination.
