Job Description
- Cost Management:
- Estimating project costs, preparing budgets, and tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Tendering and Procurement:
- Prepare tender documents, manage the tendering process, and procure necessary goods and services.
- Contract Administration:
- Managing contracts with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and resolving contractual disputes.
- Valuation and Payment:
- Measuring and valuing completed work, processing payments to contractors, and managing variations to the contract.
- Financial Reporting:
- Preparing financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis for project stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural quantity surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in a managerial or section head role within the construction or architectural industry.
- Architecture background is a must
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for architectural projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in industry-standard QS software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outsourced, and collaborative environment.
