Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing strategies across the Canadian Education Council's educational programs in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and international markets.
The position is accountable for brand growth, market visibility, qualified inbound lead generation, conversion optimization, and customer acquisition performance.
We seek a hands-on marketing leader who combines strategic thinking, creative direction, team leadership, and data-driven execution.
The ideal candidate understands how to turn marketing campaigns, content, and digital traffic into qualified leads and paying customers. The role covers Study Abroad and University Admissions, English Language Training, Canadian Language Tests (CLT), and other educational and professional training initiatives.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute marketing strategies for each program, audience, and geographical market.
Create monthly and quarterly marketing plans with defined budgets, objectives, and performance targets.
Research competitors, market trends, customer behavior, and growth opportunities.
Develop compelling marketing messages, program positioning, promotional offers, and campaign concepts.
Identify opportunities for influencer marketing, partnerships, new acquisition channels, and innovative campaigns.
Team Leadership & Creative Direction
Lead social media, community management, design, video production, content creation, and paid media teams.
Assign responsibilities, establish deadlines, evaluate performance, and ensure timely execution.
Direct creative concepts, advertising materials, video campaigns, and social media content.
Develop engaging, shareable, and high-impact content strategies to increase organic reach and viral potential.
Maintain brand consistency and high creative standards across all marketing channels.
Actively contribute creative ideas and oversee campaign execution from concept to launch.
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
Oversee advertising strategies across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
Generate qualified inbound leads while optimizing marketing budgets and acquisition costs.
Build and improve marketing funnels, landing pages, lead forms, and conversion journeys.
Analyze website traffic, visitor behavior, conversion rates, and funnel abandonment.
Identify improvements to website content, headlines, copywriting, calls to action, and user experience.
Conduct A/B testing of creatives, messaging, audiences, offers, and landing pages.
Implement retargeting and lead-nurturing strategies to improve conversions.
Performance Management & Optimization
Monitor marketing performance and optimize campaigns based on measurable results.
Track cost per lead, qualified leads, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, ROAS, and marketing ROI.
Analyze performance throughout the customer journey, from initial engagement to enrollment.
Identify underperforming campaigns, creatives, and funnels and implement corrective actions.
Allocate advertising budgets according to campaign performance and business priorities.
Collaborate with sales and admissions teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Brand Development & Market Expansion
Develop initiatives to increase brand recognition, credibility, and audience engagement.
Support the launch and expansion of educational programs across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and other markets.
Plan marketing campaigns for educational events, university partnerships, and student recruitment periods.
Identify opportunities for PR, influencers, community engagement, and strategic collaborations.

The Marketing Manager is expected to deliver measurable improvements in:

Job Requirements
Requirements
Minimum 4–7 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or performance marketing.
Proven experience managing marketing teams and coordinating multiple creative and digital specialists.
Previous marketing experience in education, EdTech, universities, study abroad, or professional training is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success in generating qualified leads and improving digital conversion rates.
Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, and digital marketing performance tools.
Good understanding of website conversion optimization, landing pages, tracking pixels, Google Tag Manager, and marketing analytics.
Experience developing marketing funnels, conducting A/B testing, and interpreting user behavior data.
Strong understanding of content strategy, social media growth, video marketing, and creative direction.
Ability to develop original marketing concepts and translate ideas into effective campaigns.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make commercial decisions based on marketing performance.
Excellent leadership, delegation, project management, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple programs, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
Previous marketing experience targeting Saudi Arabia or other GCC markets is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
