Job Description
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor system performance and security, implementing updates and patches as necessary.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Document IT procedures, system configurations, and support activities for reference and compliance.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
- Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes are in place and tested regularly.
- Train staff on new technologies, software applications, and best practices for IT security.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance IT operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with network administration, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to support end-users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work onsite at the company’s office location.
