Job Summary:
- Involve in planning, organizing, and directing functions related to the acquisition, storage, and delivery of equipment and supplies.
- To prepare, maintain and process all records and reports related to store & purchasing functions; and to perform a variety of support services and coordination of store & purchasing functions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Communicates with other management staff, vendors, and contractors for the purpose of fulfilling facility needs by coordinating activities and programs, resolving issues and conflicts and exchanging information.
- Conducts inquiries (e.g., vendors etc.) for the purpose of establishing the best sources for needed consumables, supplies and equipment.
- Conducts inquiries, interviews vendors and analyzes price and market trends, negotiates purchase agreements and terms with vendors for the purpose of purchasing consumables, supplies, machines and/or equipment at the most competitive prices.
- Ensure proper monitoring of the requirements and supplies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Ensure to maintain and update all records at regular intervals.
- Oversee the disposal of surplus inventory for the purpose of complying with Board and state policies and regulations.
