Job Description
- Maintain and ensure stock levels meet company consumption requirements.
- Conduct cyclic stock reviews for all stock groups.
- Calculate accurate lead times for determining stock levels.
- Discuss and verify end users’ comments regarding annual usage and consumption fluctuations.
- Apply the ABC method to control stock levels.
- Follow up on the replenishment of high-value and capital items.
- Monitor and report inventory movement and consumption.
- Prepare zero-stock items and delayed orders reports.
- Highlight abnormal consumption patterns with end users for investigation.
- Review and analyze system stock replenishment.
- Run the replenishment system every 15 days.
- Generate allocated items, outstanding items, alternative stock, and DNR reports.
- Combine all reports with the recommended items report to verify system logic.
- Analyze stocks that need replenishment.
- Discuss end-user feedback and review inventory controllers’ evaluations.
- Direct and monitor subordinates to ensure agreed targets are achieved.
- Develop cataloguers and enhance reports to align with ongoing changes in the work environment.
- Train and develop warehouse staff to maintain a capable workforce.
- Monitor and report non-moved stock items on a quarterly basis.
- Prepare monthly reports for non-moving items.
- Classify stock items as moving, slow-moving, or non-moving.
- Highlight non-moving items with end users to avoid unnecessary replenishment and reduce dead stock.
- Prepare forward plans for Category A items.
- Develop weekly GET, reagents, and explosives forward plans.
- Meet and discuss consumption trends with end users periodically.
- Monitor departmental trials and assess their impact on forward plans.
- Determine the appropriate Method of Transportation (MOT).
- Review daily logistics queries related to overseas shipments.
- Analyze each item’s status and recommend the suitable MOT.
- Set and maintain levels for items designated for airfreight.
- Prepare End of Month (EOM) reports.
- Analyze items whose value increased by more than 20K.
- Prepare reports for non-moving items.
- Prepare the Daily Critical Report.
- Gather and extract data for critical items from the system and section leads.
- Report each item’s status including SOH, outstanding orders, and next delivery ETA.
- Check fuel receipts and prepare monthly fuel plans.
- Verify daily receipt documents.
- Advise required fuel quantities for the upcoming month.
- Monitor daily bulk material levels when the system is unavailable.
- Check daily silo measurements.
- Order deliveries based on daily consumption needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the warehousing field, including 4 years in a similar position.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Very good user of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to discuss and understand the objectives of other departments, and refer disagreements to the Supervisor when required.
- Ensure deadlines and objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain security measures to protect inventory and system data.
- Provide a high level of service to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to assist in other areas of the company as required.
Job Location & Accommodation arrangements:
Sukari Gold Mines, Red Sea – Marsa Alam
(20 days onsite / 10 days off)
