Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls Engineer to join one of the most promising start-up PM offices working in EGYPT,US, Gulf Markets In this role, you will assist in overseeing contractor submissions, verifying actual progress vs reported updates, and supporting the Engineer’s independent assessments for claims, extensions of time (EOT), and monthly valuations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review and comment on the Contractor’s baseline and revised programs using Primavera P6.
- Prepare progress claims, cost reports, and time impact analysis (TIA) submitted for the Contractor.
- Verify the Determination of progress claims, cost reports, and time impact analysis (TIA) submitted by the Contractor.
- Analyze the critical path and identify dependencies between activities.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare periodic reports on the project schedule status and its relation to costs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of proven experience in project controls within the construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Familiarity with FIDIC-based contracts is a strong plus.
- Background in Back-Office PM Companies is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Delay Analysis standards including AACE R29.03, SCL protocol, is a strong plus.
- Professional Certificates including CLAC, and related planning and Delay Analysis is strongly plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Strong analytical mindset, with attention to contractual and technical details.
