Job Description
GAP Polymers are currently looking for a Commercial Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.
- Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
- Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
- Manage & collaborate with and diverse teams (Sales, Supply chain, Export & Tenders etc.)
- Monitor the performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
- Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring.
- Reporting regularly to executives about project progress.
- Developing general company strategies online with the different business units, to ensure full alignment.
- Creating & developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to secure long-term partnerships.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a commercial Manager or another relevant role.
- Proven experience in Polymers or PET.
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
- Leadership skills.
