Job Description
AS A QUOTATION SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:
- Prepare quotations consistent pricing guidelines in a timely fashion and maintain the quotations database
- Investigate and report on material cost variances using reports or bill of material.
- Experience in reviewing and understanding bills of material.
- Produce and provide quotes from customer RFQs
- Interface with internal departments to develop timely offers with the value creation to both the customer and the company
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions
- Ability to read customer specifications and offer products that meet customer needs and requirements
- Assume responsibility and drive ownership of customer requests/issues until resolved
- Working understanding of basic financial costing (variable, Gross Profit, Margins, etc.)
Job Requirements
- Bsc. Degree in Business Administration or equivilant.
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Ability to manage relationships and expectation on various levels
- Prior management experience including direct reports.
