Job Description
The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the overall planning, coordination and implementation of all tasks and activities related to purchasing & procurement, inventory control, renovation & maintenance service provision, transportation & security services, food & cleaning purchasing, as well as overall building & equipment maintenance in the centers. S/He is to ensure that all policies and procedures are accurately and timely implemented as outlined by Innovvette’s business goals, policy, and systems. Her/His responsibilities include managing internal procedures, closely assessing centers’ and operational needs, locating and adding new suppliers, negotiating contracts, procuring cost-effective items and services, and ensuring that quality, budget, and corporate systems are adhered to at all times. S/He is to observe the daily & monthly consumption and ensure adherence to the approved budget & the pro-rata consumption.
Job Requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Ability to self-motivate, establish priorities, work independently and proceed with achieving objectives & meeting deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Effective analytical & problem-solving abilities with a high degree of patience & resilience, and robust capability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Talented in negotiation skills with a strong ability to close deals with a win-win mindset.
- Remarkable professional work ethics & business sense, demonstrating honesty, integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to research latest developments in the sector, internationally and locally in the community, to upgrade own knowledge and skills.
- Punctuality & reliability in attendance is a priority, with the flexibility to work extra hours, occasional evenings, or weekends to meet the needs of the overall program.
