Job Description
- Calculate the cost of the finished product in terms of initial cost and direct and indirect expenses
- Follow-up production in terms of the finished and spent product (raw materials and packaging) and a comparison is made between them in order to calculate the percentage of the difference and then be accounted for production cost
- Monitoring stores in terms of stocks and production dates, and following up on stocks according to the monthly plan.
- Prepare and analyze production costs on a weekly basis and recommend alternatives to improve costs.
- Assist in the monthly production inventories count and extension.
- Establish and maintain a database for finished product & raw material stock.
- Establish and maintain a cost allocation transfer system for production material. Summarize these transactions for each financial period close.
- Price all products storeroom requisitions and compute the following Monthly production actual costs by product.
- Analyze the data collected and log a detailed record of the results.
- Analyze any changes in goods or services provided in order to determine what effect it has on the cost.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Assist management in menu costing in order to establish item sale prices.
- Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice
Job Requirements
- Previous experience within 5 years in the same Role
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- CPA a plus
- Understanding of IFRS
