Purpose Of The RolePatient Affairs at CAS Role 2 are responsible for coordinating questions, concerns and appointments with program leadership, clinical leadership and the case management team.Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities Assisting a patient find support. Communicating with doctors, nurses, therapists, and other providers on a patient's behalf. Communication with an insurance company on a patient's behalf. Explaining things to patients, ranging from medical bills to information on a diagnosis. Helping patients navigate their treatment and care options. Keeping notes of what happens during medical visits. Ensuring a patient's needs and wishes are met when they can't speak for themselves. Actively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events. Performance of other duties as assigned. Required Skills And Knowledge Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a hospital setting. Experience in patient interaction and problem resolution with patient, family and leadership. Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required. Proficiency in Microsoft O f fice applications (Excel, PowerPoint, W ord, Outlook). Experience Preferred Experience on a military site, working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred. Education Required Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Other Special Qualifications On call requirements as part of a rotation if required. Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance to drive company vehicles. Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate. This position is unaccompanied. US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required. Ability to obtain a DOS mandated clearance one is required. Must be able to relocate to Doha, Qatar. A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.
