Job Description
- A financial auditor is responsible for ensuring that a company's financial statements are in good order and in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Planning financial audits of businesses from start to finish
- Collecting, preparing, and organizing physical and digital documentation for financial auditing processes.
- Evaluating figures, accounts, and statements with other auditing accountants, internal auditors, and tax officers
- Verifying documents, figures, and account details for auditing.
- Design the auditing process using common standards of practice, company policies, business goals.
- Recommending changes to the company’s accounting or auditing procedures based on findings from an audit.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
- Analyze adherence to budgetary standards and guidelines using financial data and balance sheets.
- Reviewing financial statements to determine whether they are accurate, identifying any errors or anomalies, and recommending corrections.
- Inspects the budget and general ledger for assigned departments and accounts, ensuring that funds are available, and expenditures are assigned correctly.
- Work to develop new standards of practice within a company in order to increase accounting accuracy and integrity.
- Recommending and advising on subsequent actions and processes to be undertaken by the business
- Keep all sensitive information confidential and secure.
- Audit posts and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Review the value-added declarations, work-earning adjustments, deductions, and addition (value tax - income tax - payroll tax - WHT).
- Prepare and audit the financial statements.
- Managing all general accounting operations.
- Reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports, plans, and business processes of the organization.
- Prepare and present reports that reflect the audit’s results and document process.
- Follow up with accounting firms.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Major in Accounting (English section preferable).
- Experience: 15 years of experience at least in a public accountant office/audit firm (Audit Department).
- Proven experience in construction field.
- Good knowledge of Egyptian tax Law (value tax - income tax - payroll tax - WHT).
- Good knowledge of ERP systems.
- Advanced Auditing Certificate (preferable).
- Familiarity with Egyptian accounting standards.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Very good at English.
- Cairo, Nasr City.
