RESPONSIBILITIES
- Have a strong understanding of new trends, celebrity, music, and pop culture and regularly update the team of relevant news -
- Provide talent and collaboration recommendations based on this knowledge
- Build and manage the local strategic growth plan and budget for the Middle East to meet local market needs, drive growth and increase market penetration.
- Identify, negotiate, test, launch and manage local marketing partnerships to accelerate client acquisition, build competitive advantage and grow brand awareness in the local music scene.
- Represent Naqada Music in the local community.
- Explore and research potential partnerships in the local market.
- Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing
- Work with teams to identify social media content, topics, and information flow.
- Track metrics on audience, content, views, and competitors.
- Develop outreach and partner programs with relevant individuals and communities.
- Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spending and performance based on the insights
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Assist in music PR campaigns.
- Assist the team on special projects and events for corporations and across brands
Job Requirements
- Fully aware of the Egyptian music live scene (all genres)
- Must have a personal laptop.
- General music knowledge required and a desire to work with musicians.
- One/two years previous agency, arts organization or equivalent experience.
- Must have experience (knowledge) with the music business.
- Experience in e-commerce, SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media.
- Creative, innovative thinker with an excellent sense of local and national media.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good team player but also self-motivated, use initiative.
- Good knowledge of social media and best practices.
- Able to work some nights and weekends.
- Excellent written, verbal, and business communication skills.
- Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Outlook, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Business development and project management skills are a plus.
- Secondary language fluency is a plus
