Senior Project Manager

Job Purpose:

• Innovation & Design Technologies is an R&D as a Service entity and we are organized in a matrix form as a services organization. This form allows us the flexibility to develop expert clans and at the same time, the ability and flexibility to form multidisciplinary teams needed for our projects and clients ever demanding and complex problems. 
• Project manager plays the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects. 
• He/ She is accountable for the entire project scope, the project team and resources, the project budget, and the success or failure of the project
• Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
• Work with departmental heads, managers, and other stakeholders to develop team goals and delegate tasks to the appropriate team member
• Develop team schedules and assist in the successful onboarding and training of team members
• To coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments.
• Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope (with Systems Engineer), timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements.
• Create and communicate a clear list of expectations and goals for team members to follow
• Communicating with team members, including relaying briefs, connecting daily tasks to larger goals, and providing context and support.
• Structure and manage integrated, multi-track project performance databases for multiple digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects, with an eye on overall progress.
• Lead projects from kick-off meeting with the concerned team through deployment, identifying
  schedules, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
• Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs.
• Provide frequent feedback on employee performance, address weaknesses or inefficiencies, and offer support to improve skill gaps
• Ensuring the team remains focused and on track, including addressing any conflicts or bottlenecks
• Create, update, and implement project plan and execution
• Maintain direct and open interaction with line managers to make sure all resources needed for the project are available and also consider the negotiation of amendments to project plans to achieve best offers
• Communicate project progress to Line Manager and escalate further as appropriate
• Assist team members with resolution of work problems.
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—
  escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.
• Manage in cooperation With QA department compliance, quality control, and quality assurance
  standards and specifications.
• Assist System Engineering team with identification of technical resources needed for successful delivery of the projects.
• Orchestrate the project activities across the different disciplines for successful delivery of the projects.
• Act as a liaison between the different technical teams in integrated projects. Settle and arbitrate any clashes/disputes (maybe a more amicable term would be differences) that may arise along the different phases of the project, (with the client requirements always being the main reference point).
• Evaluate impacts of changes on project in terms of cost (man hours) and duration, whether the
  changes are triggered internally or externally
• Ensure smooth integration and successful project management implementation
• Lead project milestones completion, aligned with client requirements.
• Lead and conduct the project acceptance with clients at end of delivery.
