Projects & T/A Engineer

1. Supervise the day-to-day work in order to increase refinery profit, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.
2. Oversee all turnaround and major shutdown projects and activities are implemented effectively and in compliance with the quality, health, environmental and safety policies and procedures of YASREF.
3. Supervise the tracking of actual execution of turnaround and major shutdown projects against the set plan, recommend any required changes, and ensure accurate and timely communication to the concerned parties.
4. Supervise all work problems, issues and disputes that might arise during the execution of turnaround and major shutdown projects are effectively solved in coordination with all concerned parties.
5. Ensure the developing of turnarounds and major shutdowns critical path, activity logic, estimated budget and expected outcomes.
6. Manage and coordinate turnaround tendering and contracting activities, such as attending pre-tender meetings, answering questions, evaluating and awarding tenders.
7. Ensure turnaround budgets, cost projections and budget proposals, and communicate those to the projects & TA unit supervisor for approval.
8. Ensure adherence to the turnaround and major shutdowns processes and procedures and guide the continuous improvement of those.
9. Support with all concerned divisions to ensure that all required resources are available and well prepared to execute the work.
10. Track contractors' Key Performance Indicators and oversee periodical reports with recommendations on Contractors’ compliances.
11. Provide the necessary support to the respective OME team member before/after daily meetings to ensure high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards.
12. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Projects & TA Unit Supervisor.
