Job Description
- Assist Category Manager in selecting, pricing and positioning of category products.
- Work with Category Manager in developing category plan and strategies to improve product sales.
- Develop category documents and records according to company policies.
- Perform inventory and supply chain management to achieve inventory turnover goals and maximize sales.
- Process purchase orders, resolve invoicing issues and ensure timely merchandise delivery
- Build strong working relationship with customers for new business opportunities.
- Stay updated on category trends and competitive market.
- Assist in budget development and expense management programs.
- Conduct business review with vendors to achieve mutual profitable goals.
- Communicate information about new products and changes to relevant teams within the company.
- Prepare product presentations for customers as needed.
- Address customer issues promptly and accurately.
- Provide support for product advertising, marketing collateral, trade shows and promotional events.
- Monitor and control expenses within allotted budget.
- Negotiate pricing and promotional plans with customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Fluent English and Arabic
- Excellent PC skills including strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Products
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables Must be accurate and detail oriented
- Creative problem solver with excellent follow thru skills
- Must be dependable logical consistent and be able to manage multiple projects
- Ability to identify errors and omissions and formulate a correction prevention plan
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or any other related field
- Proven work experience in supply chain operations / procurement including supplier / vendor relationships and stakeholder management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong numerical ability with a high degree of commercial acumen
- E-commerce and / or retail background is preferred
