Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Odoo Techno-Functional Engineer to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of functional consulting, technical expertise, and development skills. You will work on end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations, custom module development, and business process optimization. Experience across Odoo versions 16, 17, and 18 is required, with strong knowledge of the OWL framework for modern Odoo frontend development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Odoo functional specifications and technical solutions.
  • Configure and customize Odoo modules (Accounting, HR, Sales, Inventory, Projects, etc.) based on client needs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules and applications (Python, XML, JavaScript, OWL).
  • Integrate Odoo with third-party systems using APIs and connectors.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve functional and technical issues.
  • Conduct UAT, user training, and prepare documentation.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Follow best practices for coding, version control (Git), and Odoo.sh deployments.
  • (Bonus) Lead or support project management tasks including planning, monitoring, and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (versions 16, 17, 18).
  • Strong understanding of Odoo functional flows (Finance, HR, SCM, CRM, Projects, etc.).
  • Proven experience in Odoo custom module development (Python, XML, ORM).
  • Good knowledge of Odoo Web (OWL) framework, JavaScript, and frontend customization.
  • Experience with Odoo.sh or on-premise deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Linux, PostgreSQL, Git, and API integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • (Preferred) Experience in project management or leading ERP rollouts.
