Job Description
- Supervise and oversee mechanical works on-site for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within overall project timelines.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to guide installation and commissioning activities.
- Monitor daily site activities, ensuring that work progresses according to schedule and addressing any technical issues that arise.
- Conduct quality inspections and tests on mechanical installations, documenting results and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Manage subcontractors and site labor, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation for project management and client review.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all phases of the project.
- Assist in the procurement and verification of mechanical materials and equipment, coordinating deliveries and inventory on-site.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and updates on mechanical site activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in mechanical site engineering, preferably within infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, installation practices, and site supervision.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations for infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple site activities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
