Job Description
- Manage and reconcile pharmacy accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements related to pharmacy transactions.
- Monitor and analyze financial records for pharmacy operations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports specific to pharmacy activities.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff and management to ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for pharmacy-related expenses.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, insurance requirements, and accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely financial data.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in healthcare accounting practices and pharmacy billing procedures.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the pharmacy accounting function.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy billing, invoicing, and reimbursement processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
