Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • To be responsible for performing complex projects, often requiring development of new procedures while also reviewing developed reports from subordinates in order to give recommendations and evaluations and providing smooth operational excellence functions to support Hikma.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and provides recommendations on new projects to ensure continuous improvement. 
  • Contributes to the preparation of the section/project budget and ensures that the activities within this section or project are implemented and processed as per the assigned budget. 
  • Supervises organization adherence and commitment to the operational excellence processes and policies to institutionalize quality standards 
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to monitor, review and analyze operational and business performance
  • Supervises internal operational excellence/process improvement initiatives to drive effective execution of growth and efficiency across business operation activities 
  • Works with BU leaders in order to influence the development planning process and prioritize operational improvement opportunities based on strategy and tactical planning objectives 
  • Provides guidance, expertise and/or assistance to internal partners to ensure operational excellence
  • programs and strategies are implemented and maintained effectively 
  • Presents data related to each operational excellence projects to assist higher level management in conducting simple analysis and feasibility studies for these projects 
  • Reviews developed reports from subordinates in order to give recommendations and evaluations
  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Prepares departmental reports of Commercial timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific background or Engineering.
  • 3-6 years of related experience with at least 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Very good command of English (spoken & written).
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Ability to meet processing deadlines.
