Job Description
- Inspect incoming materials from suppliers and confirm their quality matching with project specification, shop drawing, and approved material submittal.
- Monitor incoming material handling and storing processes to ensure its safety.
- Conduct or supervise tests on materials and/or finished products to ensure their quality compliance.
- Monitor, follow up, and inspect the construction processes to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and relevant standards
- Coordinate with site laboratory technicians for field testing.
- Liaise and coordinate with RME’s site engineers for the inspection.
- Report the subcontractors’ performance by performing visual inspections on their deliverables.
- Report, daily, or weekly to the quality manager or quality team leader the status of inspections.
- Coordinate and report to the quality manager or the quality team leader any status of non-conformance.
- To be familiar with project specifications, standards and codes.
- Familiar with and following up on the corporate quality management system.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3-7 years of experience in the Bridges sector as a Quality Engineer.
- Good Command of the English Language.
- Willing to Relocate outside Cairo
