Job Description

Job Scope:

Responsible for the financial health of an organization & produce financial reports, direct investment activities, and develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of their organization, and setting the standard financial KPIs, and make them applicable to evaluate the organization financial results with a balance score card’s applicable measure. 

Typical duties include reviewing financial reports, monitoring accounts, and preparing activity reports and financial forecasts. Financial managers also investigate ways to improve profitability, and analyze markets for business opportunities, such as expansion, mergers or acquisitions.

Job Description:

  • Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information.
  • Predicting future financial trends
  • Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted in a measurable, figurative tangible records.
  • Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
  • Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
  • Reviewing, monitoring and managing budgets.
  • Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk
  • Setting measurable KPIs as per the financial excellence standards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and requirements:

  • A degree and several years’ experience in the financial field will be required to gain a Finance Manager role.
  • A degree in the following fields will prove particularly advantageous:
  • Accountancy or Finance
  • Economics
  • Mathematics
  • Business Studies
  • Management
  • Postgraduate degrees in financial management would also be beneficial for candidates looking to advance their career.

  • Analytical Thinking.
  • Negotiation skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • Commercial and business awareness.
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Assertive eye for details and desire to probe further into data.

Ability to stick to time constraints

  • Take overall responsibility of accuracy and completeness of all accounting records
  • Take overall responsibility of all taxation aspects and assure compliance with the Egyptian Tax law
  • Responsible for day to day accounts operations such as general ledger, cash receipts ,revenue , expenses and fixed assets
  • Perform month-end accounting procedures such as reconciliations and journal entries and ensure timely closing of accounts.
  • Supervise and approve accounting entries in ERP (E- travel) system
  • Support CFO in developing and maintaining internal controls
  • Generate accounting reports and statements.
  • Define and analyze accounting discrepancies in the records and recommend effective resolutions.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to his staff.
  • Take overall responsibility of annual Financial Statements audit by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
  • Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
  • Review Company saves transactions as recorded in the system and confirm balances
  • Perform spot checks on company saves
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions and take overall responsibility of the Documents archive
  • Deal with Tax consultants to clear outstanding Tax claims
  • Review bank reconciliations, investigate, and clear non-reconciled items
  • Review all Payment Vouchers and Bank Transfers and confirm accuracy
